The planning of the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel project makes considerable progress. The Fehmarnbelt Business Council (FBBC) welcomes the renewed committment by Chancellor Angela Merkel to the project as well als the submission of documentation material for the plan approval process of the German railway connection at the Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahnbundesamt) by Deutsche Bahn. “Altogehter, that is important progress for the realisation of the project”, said FBBC Chairman Siegbert Eisenach.
